Miniso Essential Oil Diffuser - Cheap, Durable & Readily Available

The Miniso Essential Oil Diffuser is again available in their various branches nationwide. However, I noticed that there was a slight price increase from PHP899 early last year when I bought one, to PHP999. Perhaps the increase is due to its high saleability and demand.

My Miniso Essential Oil Diffuser is still working even after almost 10 months of use. I don't use it everyday though. I use it nightly when my toddler gets bouts of colds, cough & flu. It tends to relieve her of the discomforts, saving both of us sleepless nights. I also notice that she wakes up feeling better.

I also use it when I feel like we had an extremely busy day and we want to get a relaxing sleep. I don't like using it daily because I don't want to get immuned to the effects, just like how it is with medicine. So I mostly reserve for certain nights & days when we aren't feeling well, or when we want to feel extra relaxed. ☺️

My Review of the Miniso Essential Oil Diffuser

My Review of the Miniso Essential Oil Diffuser

I'm sure a lot of us has already heard of essential oils especially that EO enthusiasts are very vocal of their fondness of these natural products. Essential oils claim numerous benefits not just for the body, but all for the mind, psyche, and overall wellness of all ages.

I am sure you have a friend on social media who claims to have reaped with the benefits of using essential oils. There are a number of essential oil brands out there to choose from - Young Living, Doterra, Plant Therapy, Aura Cacia and Eden's Garden to name a few. Almost all, if not all of them are products imported from other countries, and are not locally made from the Philippines. Thus, it requires an ample amount of money because the products are expensive in itself, plus you spend for shipping and courier services.

For those who are skeptical on the use of essential oils, those who just want to try it out before finally purchasing an entire kit, and those that find the much popular brands too expensive, there is actually a much cheaper way to try out essential oils for themselves.

Miniso, a popular Japanese store that carries various items that ranges from makeup, electronics, home supplies and much more, actually sells an Essential Oil Diffuser. It retails for only 899 pesos, and has the capacity of 100ml water. Miniso branches are available at SM department stores nationwide.

Upon research on Diffuser Vs Humidifier, I actually found out that Diffusers, are intended for Essential Oils, and usually has lower water capacity ranging from 100-350ml. On the other hand, humidifiers are used to simply humidify air inside a room and usually is capable of up to 1000ml of water. This simply means that in order for a few drops of essential oils to spread its smell on a room, it will take you about 2-3 drops when you use it on a diffuser. And ideally, you shouldn't use oil on a humidifier because some people report on their humidifiers breaking when they add oil to it.

I actually enjoyed using my Miniso Essential Oils Diffuser up to now. It is about 3 months since I bought it, and I have tried some essential oils from Aura Cacia that can be bought at Healthy Options. Also, I was able to buy Plant Therapy essential oils on Shopee at retail bottles, which are very practical since I was still trying it out and hoping to see whether it was indeed effective for our family.

So far, I am liking its effects since it actually works its magic, and it really helps with minor sniffles and it helps induce sleep, and gives that overall feeling of wellness.

A Snippet of How My Day Goes

I admit, I miss being a stay-at-home mom. But then again, I have a great job now and I always think that I'm doing this for my family, and for myself... :-)

Etude House vs Daiso Eyebrow Pencil and Brow Gel

They say full on "brows on fleek" is the new red lipstick. I must say I totally agree to that.

As someone who was born with barely there sparse brows, I am thankful that the recent years beauty trend has allowed me to greatly improve on how I do my brows. I believe that doing the brows greatly affect the overly appearance of a person. I look at my teenage and college pictures and I could just wish this "kilay on fleek" trend has been around when I was younger, like when I was in high school or in college because I could have totally made some improvements on my appearance then.

But at the very least, I have now learned how to do my brows to make it look as fleek as possible. I have tried almost every possible economical and budget-friendly ways to make my brows look fuller in a daily basis. That means I draw or do my brows whenever I go out. I can definitely go out with nothing on my face expect for my made-up brows. That’s how important it is for me.

I have tried a lot of products - from eyebrow pencils, eyebrow powders, brow kits, and so on. I used to spend at least 15-30 minutes doing my brows whenever I get out of the house. That is something my husband has learned to accept ever since I began drawing on brows. But life happened and I became a mom. As a first time mom that was "yaya-less", I could barely comb my hair, much more do my brows whenever we'd go out when my daughter was at least a month or 2 months. But by the succeeding months, as I was getting the hang of how it is to join the motherhood club, I was already able to squeeze in time to do minimal makeup whenever we had to go out like for monthly Pedia checkup, vaccinations, or even just malling or doing the groceries.

But I could not do my brows for 15 minutes like I used to when I was still childless. This time it’s totally different. I could barely even spare some time to use my bath scrubs because sometimes, even bathing could be a luxury and has to take up only 5 minutes. So I really made sure my brow routine was quick and easy-to-do.

That was when I decided to buy auto eyebrow pencils, those that has retractable pens on one end, and spoolie on the other. They were so convenient to use because they did not require sharpening unlike my usual Ever Bilena brow pencils. They also has a spoolie on one end so I don’t have to grab another tool which is the spoolie brush on my makeup kit to brush and diffuse the applied product or simply put, to blend out the harsh edges lessening the drawn eyebrow appearance. The retractable pen usually comes in a slant tip where one side is narrower than the other. This makes sure that the tip is somewhat sharp every time I use it. The wider side is used for fast filling in of the eyebrow area.

But as I am getting used to my Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil and Brow Gel, I recently went to Daiso in Ayala Centrio and I was able to buy almost the same products with just the cost of 88pesos each. I could tell you that the products were comparable to the more expensive Etude House eyebrow products, but they were almost of the same quality. The Daiso Eyebrow Pencil and Brow Gel also performed well in terms of longevity and making sure my eyebrows appeared nice and "on fleek". Most importantly, they were also very easy and convenient to apply.

Definitely, this is the cheapest yet most effective eyebrow products that I've had so far.

Till my next post.

Testing Post

Hello there! Since I've come across this Blogger App for Android, I have finally decided to give blogging a try. It will be a perfect outlet for my random musings while I am patiently waiting for the arrival of our little bundle of joy by 2016. Since I am on work hiatus to focus on my pregnancy, I think this will be a great outlet for me and my cluttered thoughts. Just like how I decided to write this first post at 3 in the morning, simply because I can't sleep.

That's all for now. Bye.
